One by one they filed into the locker room, sweat still dripping from their faces after a weightlifting session, their bodies still a little sore after Sunday's 48-22 thrashing of the Philadelphia Eagles.

A day after one of the Saints' biggest road wins under Sean Payton, a victory that certainly caught the nation's eye, the Saints could have been basking in the glow of their second consecutive blowout win to open the season.

Instead, they appeared hard at work, denouncing any talk that this Saints squad -- which became the first NFL team since the Indianapolis Colts in 2001 to open the season by scoring more than 40 points in consecutive weeks -- is anything other than a 2-0 football team with plenty left in the season.
