The New Orleans Saints are surely glad to be done with the preseason.

After a 23-14 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, the Saints fell to 0-4 as the exhibition slate ended Thursday at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, extending the Saints' preseason losing streak to nine games.

But, these games don't count, and even though the Saints had some discouraging displays at times the past few weeks, the starters provided a few reasons for optimism Thursday.
