New Orleans Saints: B

Key additions: WR Emmanuel Sanders, S Malcolm Jenkins

Key departures: QB Teddy Bridgewater, LB A.J. Klein, S Vonn Bell

The Saints found a way to add two key starters on two-year, $16 million contracts in Sanders and Jenkins. Even better, they were able to retain Drew Brees on a team-friendly contract and were also able to keep guard Andrus Peat.

I don't think any other team addressed needs better. The only time we did better was the year we drafted Ingram as BPA.
We didn't address Linebacker.

So no, we weren't that spectacular at addressing needs.

Jenkins and Sanders were home runs, however.

B grade would be about right.

The over spending on Peat is the other negative to the off season moves when looking at everything in total.

I think the resigning of Onyamata is huge. I know a lot of experts on this board counted him as being gone before free agency, I am so glad the team kept him.

Agree with this.

I just can’t see how the team relying on Anzalone and Alonso to stay healthy is wise. Especially after we saw the defense drop off so much when injuries took their toll.

I’m betting we make a move for an LB in the first round.
