Charlotte, N.C. - The New Orleans Saints had a record-setting season in 2019 while winning the NFC South for a third consecutive season and finishing with a 13-3 record for the second consecutive season, the first time that has happened in franchise history.

Receiver Michael Thomas demolished the NFL's single season-season receptions record of 143, finishing this season with 149 receptions. Those catches resulted in 1,725 yards and nine touchdowns.

Quarterback Drew Brees set the NFL record for career touchdown passes with 547 and single-game completion percentage (29 of 30 for 96.7 percent).

Brees came up nine passes short of setting the record for career pass attempts, Brett Favre (10,169) will hold onto that mark for one more season. Brees also threw for more than 25 touchdown passes for the 14th season, tied for second in NFL history. ...
