The New Orleans Saints nee to get a good bit of help in the 2013 NFL Draft, and they were expected to go with an offensive lineman or defender in the secondary with their first pick. They went with the latter of the two choices on Thursday, April 25, 2013, and chose safety Kenny Viccaro out of the University of Texas.
Vaccaro heads to a team where he could honestly step right in as a rookie and start. His playing time could be incredibly big for the Saints in 2013, and it is expected already that Vaccaro will start alongside Roman Harper.
During his time at Texas, Vaccaro started 32 of 51 games for the Longhorns. He doesn't have any real injuries or past problems, but did have his senior season in high school ended early due to a knee injury.
