It didn't take New Orleans Saints linebacker Jonathan Vilma long to weigh in on what he thought of the hiring of Rob Ryan as the Saints' new defensive coordinator.
Vilma, who has mostly been quiet this offseason after a season filled with legal hearings stemming from the infamous bounty scandal, apparently is on board with the announcement that Ryan is set to become the Saints' third defensive coordinator in three seasons and the subsequent change from a 4-3 scheme to a 3-4 alignment.
Ryan will replace Steve Spagnuolo, who was fired two weeks ago after just one season with the Saints.
"I think Rob Ryan is a real good hire for us," Vilma tweeted Saturday morning. "What do you guys think? Good or bad, and why."
