Running back Chris Ivory remains the only unsigned restricted free agent for the New Orleans Saints, and the reason is that he's testing his options. The bruising tailback visited with the New York Jets on Friday, according to a source.
The Saints issued Ivory a second-round tender, which would be a one-year, $2.023 million contract. It's the same offer center Brian de la Puente signed earlier this week. Ivory is in a much different situation than de la Puente, though, as the Saints possess a clogged backfield with Ivory, Mark Ingram, Pierre Thomas and Darren Sproles.
