New Orleans Saints rookie offensive tackle Terron Armstead has been having a great offseason so far for the team. Armstead was selected by the Saints in the third round of the 2013 NFL draft as a small school prospect out of Arkansas-Pine Bluff, was brought in to bring depth to the offensive line.

However, he has shown much progression this offseason that it is rumored that he is the favorite for the starting left tackle spot.

Since losing Jermon Bushrod to the Chicago Bears, the Saints have been looking to fill the void at left tackle. Offensive tackles Charles Brown and Jason Smith have been in the mix to win the starting left tackle job, but it appears that Armstead has emerged as the favorite.
