Looks like the New Orleans Saints will have a battle for the backup quarterback job as the team signed veteran quarterback Seneca Wallace to a one-year deal, the team announced Monday. The Saints had already signed veteran Luke McCown earlier this offseason.
Wallace, 32, spent last season without a team after spending the previous two seasons in Cleveland. The 5-foot-11, 205-pound passer has been a career backup spending his first seven years (2003-2009) in Seattle. Wallace was reportedly on the verge of signing with the Raiders a few days ago. Obviously, that wasn't the case.
