As the New Orleans Saints prepare for Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos, they signed a player who was a part of last season's Super Bowl championship.
Saints coach Sean Payton said Wednesday the team added safety Shiloh Keo, whom the Broncos cut two weeks ago. Payton described him as someone who's "smart with good instincts, can play safety, can play dime at the linebacker position and someone that we think can help in the kicking game as well."
A fifth-round pick by the Houston Texans in 2011, Keo spent the end of the 2015 season as well as the postseason with the Broncos. His most productive season was in 2013 with the Texans when he played 16 games, starting 11, and had 63 tackles, four interceptions and six passes defensed.
