The New Orleans Saints know no lead is safe against the Detroit Lions.

Back in 2014, the Saints were the victims of the Lions' recent affinity for late-game heroics.

It was Week 7, and New Orleans took a 23-10 lead with 5:24 remaining in the fourth quarter. The Lions scored on a 73-yard catch and run by Golden Tate on the next drive. On the fifth play of the Saints' next possession, Drew Brees threw an interception to safety Glover Quin.

And with 1:54 remaining, the Lions scored another touchdown to complete the comeback for a 24-23 win.

That game from two years ago resembles nearly the entire 2016 season for Detroit. In 11 games this year, the Lions (7-4) already have seven fourth-quarter comebacks.

So when Detroit visits the Mercedes-Benz Superdome Sunday, the Saints know they can't be comfortable even if they have a late lead.
