There's a ton of QB needy teams out there (many of them within our own division).... So if Carr is "our guy"... It would not be the worst thing in the world to trade for him before he's released to avoid a $$$ bidding war with other teams.... We are going to have to give him a new deal away... That won't be necessary . The Saints are allowed to talk to him prior to any deal and an agreement that makes his first year cap friendly could be done before any trade agreement is executed. That will lower the trade value ifrom what the Raiders will require if they take they have to take the cap hit this year themselves.
