Any thoughts/rumors on what this can be about? I hope the team isn't folding.

The New Orleans VooDoo announced Monday afternoon that it will hold a news conference Thursday with the Arena Football League to make a "major announcement." AFL Commissioner Jerry Kurz and VooDoo Owner Dan Newman are scheduled to attend. The event will be held at the New Orleans Arena, the team's home.

Arena Bowl to be held in N.O. At the arena.

Yeah, AFL is changing to Arena Bowl being at a neutral site like the NFL,
and we're it. Cool.

No reason to move the team-- tickets are selling like hotcakes, even
with last seaon's results. A lot of "I Can't Get Saints Season Tickets So I'll
Get Voodoo Season Tickets" people.

I also laughed when I read this:

Thank goodness he wasn't signed by the NFL team in Green Bay...
