I'll be excited to see us select Leodis McElvin after we trade out the 10th spot and in the next round select Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie...

I doubt this will happen, but it'll be nice if we trade our 10th pick for Dallas 1st rounders. We could get either Dan Connor or any other productive LB along with Leodis Mcelvin and next round Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie.

What you guys think about that???

Cromartie had such a good senior bowl he probably won't be there in the second round for us.

but he'll be there when we're on the board... I think the best thing we could do is trade out of the 10th pick. Leodis McElvin would've had a excellent Senior Bowl but he had a hamstring injury, all during the week leading up to the game Leodis made big play after play along with Cromartie.

Leodis McElvin plays tight coverage, stays with the receiver, but can't catch a cold, no turnovers coming from him, and we need more from somewhere.

when we pick we better take a guy that will come in and start, not the best value, or we better get ready to say maybe next year, next year.(man i hate that song)

FWIW Jason David has excellent hands... problem is he rarely gets them on the ball. Gimme a true cover CB with stonehands over the cover-2 guy with excellent hands that's playing out of position/scheme...

Just wondering...how can a premier return man have bad hands? I am not doubting this, as I saw it on Scouts, Inc. and Scout.com, I believe. I just found it odd. Can he not catch on the run?

What makes you think someone wants to trade up with us? Trading up into the top 10 is easier said than done.

Wait after the combines you'll see more players moving up in the draft and more teams craving to get that one player...

Devin Hester supposedly had terrible hands as a DB...couldn't catch anything

It's a different technique catching a high ball and catching a pass - I used to play fullback in rugby (kind of like a Free safety on defence, no real offensive equivalent in football...I'd play behind the rest of the players and cut into the line or come up on the outside depending on how the play was developing, and then get "lateralled" the ball...I suppose that's the easiest way of describing it) and I can tell you that catching a ball you're facing from a height is very different from catching something coming from off your shoulder or zinging straight at you...my 2 cents

btw, don't think the above scenario happens. I doubt dallas trade the 2 firsts for anyone other than McFadden

This is stupid, why pick 2 straight CBs? We need a MLB and a DT too, and maybe even a FS. It all depends on what we get in FA on who we will draft.
