The Gizmodo article about this is hilarious. I can't even quote it due to language.



after returning from DC in 2017 and using Uber ONCE to get from Train station to near the Rayburn Building and seeing my credit card statement 3 pages long with Uber charges amounting to just around $3300, im not tellin ANY uber driver to shut the ....up. lol
 
I take Uber quite a bit. Especially, if I'm partaking in...ahem...social activities. I've never had a truly bad experience and actually kinda prefer a driver who tries to engage in conversation. I find those silent rides awkward.

me too. i normally spend a ridiculous amount a month on uber for work. i don't care what they talk about if it is less awkward than the silence.
