Hard to go into Pittsburgh and win......even though we shot ourselves in the foot.

Parker might set the all time record if they give it to him again.

Good news is 6-3 still leads the NFC South.........thank god for Cleveland.

A pretty simple way of looking at things.

There are things about this defense that are good. Some of the concepts this staff has taught work really well. We still don't have that sideline to sideline linebacker that can help contain the corner. We stack the middle really well, though.

None of us expected the defense to play near as well as they have. There are still a few holes. But I don't think they "stink," though they haven't played well this game.

Defense has a ways to go for sure. At the same time, the offense isn't controlling the ball like it did earlier in the season.

Still plenty of time for the Saints to tie it, though, but they really need to get back to keeping the opposing team's offense off of the field.

Don't put this one only on the defense... 5 fumbles, 3 lost. Its hard to win games like that. We shot ourselfs in the foot.

Filed position and our defense really let us down today. Carney was horrible in every aspect of the game. I saw Payton was HOT when Carney missed the 31 yd FG. Almost every kick saw the Steelers starting with the ball at their 40 yd line.

Offense looked very good today. Colston...what can you say...we did hit the draft day jackpot with Colston, Bush, and the OL we added.

We need to start winning the turnover battle and play better defense. GO SAINTS!

Fumbles and poor defense cost us this game. What was up with the poor kickoffs and special teams coverage this game?

Defense on both teams stink. I do put this one on the defense. Giving up almost 500 yards offense? How can you not blame them.

Remember that discussion earlier this week about the stat that put the Saints among the worst in the league against the run outside of the tackles?

Couldn't have been more true. Inside, we're strong (Hollis Thomas has a lot to do with that) but outside, against the run, especially against a quick back like Parker- we are very weak.
