Next week is a trap game (1 Viewer)

Rather not play any defensive starters or oline starters if LAR drop Monday night. Can't afford injuries in that unit

somehow these games always come down to last sec. I want another comfortable win
I'm not sure if it's possible to die from joy, but if we do to Atlanta anything CLOSE to what we did to the Eagles, I may not survive!

Atlanta is having their 7-9 season that is almost identical to the ones we had through 2014 to 2016.

They started 1-4 including a few gut wrenching close losses that were winnable.

After the bad start, they slowly climbed to .500, just like we did in those years....

Then they completely crapped the bed to a team they were favored to blow out (Cleveland). Not unlike the games we had in those 7-9 years where we did the same thing. Remember that Broncos game from 2016? Or the Titans game in 2015? Or the 49ers game from 2014? Cleveland was their version of that.

After first heart breaking loss, they go on to lose another game to a team they should likely beat and it's at home. Remind you of something? Oh yeah, that's the 2014 loss to Cincy for us or the 2016 road loss to Carolina.

They're finishing 7-9 this year. LOL at everyone all summer who acted like they were a playoff team and our biggest threat. Atlanta was not even that good last year. They were a few lucky bounces away from being 8-8 and then in the playoffs, they pretty much got the best match up possible with a young and inexperienced Rams team with a rookie head coach.

Might as well get it started early. ?
Lol,

Well, it's the Falcons.

They are just playing losing football, but it's the usual drill with a division rival/opponent.

Gotta put 'em away and not let them hang around

All 2 years after their big SB run, that they couldn't eve28-3n finish!

Not a “trap game” at all. A game against a capable rival.

It’s a chance to bury the Failclowns. There is no way SP will let this be a trap game. I think he is going to want to show them who the better team is.

Yeah, LOL it's hilarious.

That SB loss is going to haunt them forever. No team was ever that close.

In another community, that SB loss is often compared to the Oilers big blown lead to Buffalo in the 1992 wildcard game. No one even remembers that Houston blew other leads with Kevin Gilbride's Run-N-Shoot offense, so the Falcons SB loss is much worse. It will be remembered forever. The Oilers aren't even a team anymore.
