The third down conversion percentage sticks out to me. That's an area where we've struggled in previous years and it's cost us several games, but 33% is an excellent percentage. Maintaining this will be a major key going forward.

Yep and ATL is giving it up at a 50% clip. Yikes, for them.

Good post...i am very surprised this D is this good, this soon.
I wasn't expecting this kind of action till after the bye.
The best part is they will only get better.

It's funny how when looking at the league's PA category, you can tell who has played the Saints without looking at the name.

Very nice job. You should report your findings to these clowns....

If they want to argue point out our point differtial compared to them. If they want to bring up mcnabb and Detroit arguements point out the fact that we beat our 0-2 team by more than they did their's. A follow-up arguement could be that we smoked the team that smoked their opponent when they could only when by 8and that the outcome of the game was still in doubt until late in the game.

This is my favorite stat right here, and one of the biggest things I wanted us improve upon from last year. Get a defense that can take the ball away and give Brees a short field and we can be dominant as we saw on Sunday.

What's great about this is we've played 1 garbage team and 1 very good team and the end result was roughly the same: offense was unstoppable, defense forced turnovers and made key stops.
