Nice showing everyone. The first week is always very unpredictable and no board (other than Tampa's, had an 0-4 showing). Congrats to the Week 1 Winner - STULAAKE (T). First blood goes to the Buccaneers. Week two picks will be up soon. Let's see if the other teams get redemption. Remember, the more players, the better the odds.

After each players name you will see in parentheses a letter signifying the city for each player. (T=Tampa, A=Atlanta, C=Charlotte and N=New Orleans).
Lets see who has the bragging rights each week and at the end of the season.

Players from 4 teams were: Tampa 61, Atlanta 15, New Orleans 9 and Charlotte 6.

As all can see from the numbers below, it was not an easy week. Only 8 players finished above .500. 38 finished at .500, with 37 at .250 and 8 finished 0-4.

The winning teams versus the spread were the Browns (28 picks), Steelers (23 picks), Giants (67 picks) and Texans (19 picks).

The winner this week, from Tampa, was STULAAKE with the only perfect 4-0. Tampa has bragging rights this week.
Of the 7 who finished with 3-1, 4 were from Tampa, 2 from New Orleans and 1 from Charlotte. (Sorry Atlanta)

The tie breaker # was 182. Uncle Stan of Tampa was closest at 181.

As the first week and the YTD are the same, this will be the only report for this week.

Week 2 NFCS PR PickEM will be up as soon as there is a line on the Bucs/Carolina game. Being held up by oddsmakers until more is known about their QB situation.

We have a couple of guys that are decent at picks (not me of course), so you have to bring it. I was impressed by this boards performance over the others. If you increase your number of players I think you will be in great shape. I could use some help managing the player group on this board if anyone wants to take that on (just recruiting new players and bumping the messages so everyone gets to see them).

The players on the Bucs board were excited to play against you and are calling for more competition. Hopefully we get a big turnout for the week 2 picks.

You are correct. That was a miscommunication between myself and the game admin. I will work on a solution for that (perhaps using a percentage calculation or using total yards for everyone on the non-buc boards. Thanks for pointing that out. FWIW, I also used total yards in my prediction. That mistake won't happen again. My apologies.

For those who were wondering, the team winning percentages have been calculated for the week and are as follow;

Tampa .544 87-157
Charlotte .500 12-12
New Orleans .444 16-20
Atlanta .383 23-37

Each week will have a big effect on this in the beginning so next week could potentially turn the current standings upside down. The more who play, the easier it is to absorb losses.
