I think it's too early to tell what teams will make the playoffs but I think 4 out of 16 NFC teams are out already. Right now if it ended today, two 5-4 teams would be out of the playoffs.

washington @ 3-6, would basically need to go 6-1 the rest of the way out for a chance at a willd-card spot and I don't see that happening. they have benched brunell and portis is out for a few weeks.

tampa @ 2-7, would have to win out for a chance at a wild-card spot and they have only scored 112 points all year.

detroit @ 2-7, would have to win out to have a chance at a wild-card spot. I don't see Kitna going on a 7 game winning streak.

arizona @ 1-8, could win out and would only be 8-8. .500 is not gonna get you in the playoffs this year in the NFC.

I would say 5 or more losses at this point is out of the playoffs because of who the teams are
StLouis- Please beat Carolina
GB- Sorry Farve I just dont see it
Minn- How old is Brad Johnson
SF- Building year with lots of potential

Slowly but surely they will start dropping out of the playoff race. We need to concentrate on winning the division.
