Apparently they start revealing the NFL 100 All-Time Team by revealing 12 (not 8 - my bad) RBs from 24 finalists. I will list the options in a second. But first let me say I have my doubt that they give the older players a fair shake on this list. That being said post your selections from the 24 listed, then if you want list who you think should have made the 24 finalist list.

RB 24 Finalist Options
Marcus Allen
Jerome "The Bus" Bettis
Jim Brown
Earl Campbell
Earl "Dutch" Clark
Eric Dickerson
Tony Dorsett
Marshall Faulk
Harold "Red" Grange
Franco Harris
Hugh "The King" McElhenny
Lenny Moore
Marion Motley
Bronko Nagurski
Walter Payton
Adrian Peterson
Barry Sanders
Gale Sayers
OJ "The Juice" Simpson
Emmitt Smith
Jim Taylor
Thurman Thomas
LaDanian "LT" Tomlinson
Steve Van Buren

Edit: Correction pick 12 not 8.

Jim Brown
Walter Payton
Earl Campbell
Steve Van Buren
Bronko Nagurski
Barry Sanders
LaDanian "LT" Tomlinson
Dutch Clark
Marion Motley
Eric Dickerson
Adrian Peterson
Marshall Faulk

Players that I think should have made the top 24 Finalists
LeRoy Kelly (never gets a fair shake - because he followed Jim Brown)
Joe Perry (never gets a fair shake)
Larry Csonka

Other Greats that were probably on a semi finalists list some where
John Diesel Riggins
Charley Trippi
Cliff Battles
Ernie Nevers

Im a big Ernie Nevers fans but I get why he isnt making any of the lists.

Edit: Updated to get to 12.

Ahhh Phooey you get to pick 12 apparently in this skill position over-populated team.

Jim Brown
Walter Payton
Gale Sayers

Earl Campbell
Earl "Dutch" Clark
Marcus Allen
Barry Sanders

Marion Motley
Bronko Nagurski
LaDanian "LT" Tomlinson
Adrian Peterson
Eric Dickerson

The "core" of the list would be on everyone's list -- Brown, Payton, Sayers, Campbell, Allen, Sanders, Nagurski, Dickerson....

Am I the only one here who had to look up who Dutch Clark was? An early pioneer of the position, yes.

Here's a few more intriguing borderline-greats no one has listed yet -- Cookie Gilchrist, Roger Craig, Bo Jackson, and, yes, Jim Thorpe.

Emmitt Smith
Jim Brown
Walter Payton
Adrian Peterson
Barry Sanders
Gale Sayers
Marshall Faulk

Bronko Nagurski
LaDanian "LT" Tomlinson
Eric Dickerson
Jim Taylor
Marcus Allen

My top seven are locks and guys that I'd be shocked if they didn't make the "real" list. The other guys round out my top 12, but I am less solid in my opinion.

(Also, I'm keeping OJ off because of all the kidnapping and murder, but without that, he'd be on my list as a lock (and I'd kick Marcus Allen off).

I do like the actual list...nice inclusion of Lenny Moore (my respect for Bill went up a notch).

My personal pump and dump....
Pump Bronko (too many awesome tales to leave)
Dump Gale (I would have put him on ST he is one of the greatest to watch but a lot of his highlights are from the return game, his biggest downside was the short injury plagued career)

They revealed their list. It skews a lot older than I imagine most of ours do. I'm personally shocked that Peterson and Faulk didn't make the list.

Jim Brown (1957-1965)

Earl Campbell (1978-1985)

Earl "Dutch" Clark (1931-1932; 1934-1938)

Eric Dickerson (1983-1993)

Lenny Moore (1956-1967)

Marion Motley (1946-1953; 1955)

Walter Payton (1975-1987)

Barry Sanders (1989-1998)

Gale Sayers (1965-1971)

O.J. Simpson (1969-1979)

Emmitt Smith (1990-2004)
