I guess in that aspect he is Colston 2.0, a constant professional. Hopefully it won't keep him from making some probowls.

Well, he's officially ineligible to be Colston 2.0. Someone in the national media acknowledged his existence.

To truly be Colston, you have to put up consistent, pro bowl numbers every year and be widely ignored outside of Louisiana. Sadly.

Hence the 2.0. He's new and improved. I also think he reminds me of Colston in the way that he makes big plays without all the showboating.

Along those same lines, I wonder if Colston's lack of flair for the dramatics contributed to him not getting considered for the ProBowl since so many of these polls nowadays are based on popularity contests.

I'm torn between, YES, now others will know what we know .... and ....

CRAP, now others will know what we know.

Thomas goes out and quietly does his job. In typical Saint receiver fashion he doesn't pull any of the outrageous "hey, look at me I'm awesome" antics that get other WRs noticed.

In that way, he's a lot like Colston. :9:

We often deride, rightly, the 2014 draft class for the Saints as one big bust. One move that WASN'T a bust, however, was taking Cooks and leaving OBJ alone. He's perfect for the market he ended up in, and Cooks and Thomas are perfect for us!

Such a shame he will get overlooked for OROY for Dallas players

Does Jon Gruden and Merrill Hoge count?
