The New Orleans Saints will give up one of their home games in order to travel overseas in 2008 to meet the San Diego Chargers in London's Wembley Stadium.
That means the Saints will only play two exhibition games and seven regular-season games in the Superdome during the 2008 season. But they won't lose all that cash.
The NFL will reimburse New Orleans for the ticket revenue, parking and concessions the franchise will lose for moving a home game.
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell made the announcement during his state-of-the-league address at Super Bowl XLII before Saints and Chargers team officials attended a news conference to talk about the Oct. 26 game.
