Who will be the New Orleans Saints’ starting quarterback in 2020?
According to NFL executives and general managers polled by ESPN, the answer may very well be former BYU star and current Saints’ third-string quarterback/Swiss Army knife Taysom Hill.
That is, according to a story by ESPN staff writer Jeremy Fowler.
In it, Fowler lays out the opinions of anonymous executives, and while the notion of a starting quarterback role for Hill may be surprising, it is apparently not outside the realm of possibility.
Fowler quotes an exec on the matter, who says it “wouldn’t come as a total shock to see Sean Payton move forward with Taysom Hill as the starting QB. Sean always has been intrigued by athletic quarterbacks and how to utilize them. Taysom is a talented guy.” ...
