Someone should send that to the league office and let them know they are missing out on an opportunity to officially license and make some cash.

If you use it under the strict guidelines and observation of an MD. But for recreation, heck no.I'm sorry that your family members suffer from addiction. I have several family members that suffer from life altering addiction to alcohol, and opiods. None of them used Cannabis as a precursor.
The fact is (backed up by statistics) that most people who use Cannabis do not use other drugs. And despite being federally illegal, there has been a LOT of research into the benefits and the downsides to using this plant.
I use it in moderation to help alleviate depression, and it does the job better than any pill ever has. It is one of the kindest drugs to use and stop using when compared to other drugs such as alcohol, anti-depressants, benzos, opiods, etc. It's non-toxic, and not physically addictive. 100's of millions of people use it daily without any deaths, overdoses, etc. Many successful people quietly (and some not so quietly) use it without issue.
Again, I am sorry that your family suffers from addiction. I know how that feels. But, Cannabis is not to blame. Addiction is psychological and physical. The drug used is simply the end result of addiction. It could be cannabis, alcohol, sex, food, crack, etc.
Don't agree with this and never will. That crap has destroyed too many lives as a starter drug and I don't care what anyone else says that it isn't. I have numerous family members that start with pot and ended up abusing harder crap and ruined there lives to convince me otherwise.
just want to thank you for your service in the core . my son is a drill instructor in the marines out in san diego could not be more proud of him. nd he is a diehard saint fan and a member of saints reportMarines saved my life when I was attached to the 586th ESFS at camp Bucca. I've yet to find a slacker Marine.
fun fact: ye ol' mary jane used to be legal in this country, then you have a compelling argument that the reason laws were passed to make it illegal was due to racism.
I believe that meth and coke are physically addicting. You are correct about weed. The only addiction to pot is mental, as is the case with meth, coke or whatever. The issue here is the fable that pot treats pain on the same level as opiates. I cannot see a player who just had knee surgery forgoing his pain medication for pot. They will do them together but never as the primary means of pain control. On other words, if you want to let players smoke pot...Great. They are adults and capable of making their own decisions. Just don't sell it as an alternate means of pain control for football injuries.
I had three white friends arrested for possession and distribution. I guess those cops did not et the memo.fun fact: ye ol' mary jane used to be legal in this country, then you have a compelling argument that the reason laws were passed to make it illegal was due to racism.

lol I don't do edibles anymore. Not because its bad, but because it's too good. When I got in the program I started with edibles and it helped me very much with pain. As my body began to heal, the edibles seemed more potent, so I downgraded to flower. But if you think gummies and cookies are potent, dont try "RSO" (Rick Simpson oil). That stuff is great for Cancer patients and people dealing with extreme pain. But I don't recommend it unless you have a high tolerance. That's cool and all just as long as they DO NOT start with edibles or weed gummies.
Alcohol does do the same thing. It is also a drug.
My Father-in-law loss his son to a drunk driver who t-boned him at over 80 mph. The guy was tore up in court and admitted to his alcohol addiction. His family was very nice and my in-laws were very forgiving considering the young man had no criminal past, seemed very remorseful, and was willing to do life for his actions. With support of both families, the judge sentenced him to 10 years for vehicular homicide. At the time we all felt it to be a fair sentence and hoped that the young man would take advantage of a second chance with the possibility of going home after 5 years. He in fact did 5 years and was releases in 2009 looking far different than he had during the trail. He seemed to have matured and changed his outlook on life.i think you missed my point about the silly ‘gateway drug’ argument about weed...alcohol can be found in nearly every home in this country...
how many parents have given their children a little sip of beer? People just ignore this because alcohol is legal and socially acceptable...but the reality is that booze is one of the most dangerous and addictive drugs out there...i speak from experience
