With four more teams eliminated from the playoffs this past weekend, a handful of coordinators in demand can focus on interviews. The latest on the head coaching news around the league includes Dan Quinn, Sean Payton, and Ejiro Evero has hot names.
With teams now conducting second interviews, it seems like the field of candidates has narrowed, and we may start to see some dominos fall soon. Here’s where each of the five head coaching openings stands as of this morning.
Cardinals Head Coach Job
The Arizona Cardinals have scheduled a second interview with Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn. The Cardinals met with Quinn last weekend virtually, and with the Cowboys eliminated from the playoffs, Quinn will be flying to Arizona for an in-person interview.
The Cardinals also have an interview scheduled with Sean Payton. Payton’s interview with Arizona is set for January 26. ...
