NFL hypocrisy (1 Viewer)

i saw hartley a few months back in belle chasse... they can call him ;) I heard british airway will be offering direct flights to london ;)

Honestly, if I'm the Giants, I use this for a great publicity opportunity. I don't even let Brown get on the plane, then I try out a few English Premier League players, and sign one for Sunday.

They can find a regular kicker once they get back.

They left him behind. Good.

Giants K Josh Brown will not travel with the team to London for its Week 7 game against the Rams.

Brown beat his wife multiple times, and new evidence came to light Wednesday night and more continues to come out Thursday. The NFL and the Giants said they were "unaware" of the new findings, but it's been revealed this afternoon that the league actually helped Brown's now-ex-wife switch hotel rooms at the Pro Bowl in January after a drunk Brown was pounding on the room door. Brown is certain to be released in the near future. Amazing that it hasn't happened yet.

Ray Rice = Can't get a job
Josh Brown = Starting Sunday

and something from me: Vontaze Burfict, repeat offender gets suspension the first time and warning not to do it again. Does it again, gets a low-ball fine.
Rice will never get a job again long as Roger has a say in it. Rice embarrassed him by appealing to arbitration and winning.

How come the NFL is always scrutinized over player conduct and lack of discipline but not the NFLPA?

The obvious complaint would be that Brown is still in the league because he's white. But I personally think it has more to do with his ability to still hit kicks.

Considering his string of issues, it is pretty amazing how much rope he actually has. I think his injury yesterday may just be a bit of karmic comeuppance.

I don't think the difference comes from race issues. Brown plays and is protected by Consiglieri Mara.

Rice was in a similar spot with Baltimore (who's lawyers are well connected to the NFL circles). Now Brown is getting to be indefensible and now, disposable.

This is a big PR hit for the NFL, not only because we come again on being soft against issues against women, but because it is the Giants, and people know how close Mara is with the Commissionner and his office.

I am sure most of the owners are taking notes.
