We all know the Manning’s are arguably the best family who has played in the NFL. Archie Manning recently told an interesting story that involves Peyton Manning—his son.
In an article by Dan Pompei of The Athletic, Archie recalled a Pro Bowl story about Peyton and Walter Payton. The legendary Chicago Bears running back did something that Archie and Peyton will always remember. Here’s an excerpt from the article:
At the Pro Bowl in Hawaii after the 1979 season, Archie and (Walter) Payton were teammates. Players and their families hung out on the beach during the week before the game, and at one point, little Peyton went missing. Somebody said Peyton was with Payton.
