NFL officiating has become absurd (1 Viewer)

Don't forget the horse collar that wasn't even close. Also, when did they start calling PI when the ball was clearly uncatchable? They used to pick up those flags. The ball was thrown out of bounds. Sorry, don't remember the 2 players.
they still pick that up....for everybody but us.

Opponents listed first

TB: 9-103, 6-119
LV: 3-13, 10-129
GB: 2-10, 8-83

Totals:
14 - 24
126 - 331

Avg penalties: 4.7 - 8
Avg yds: 42 - 110

Our penalties vs. Bucs were essentially a wash and we won the game.

0-2 in games with the completely lopsided selective officiating is the important stat.
Last two games we're penalized a total of 212 yds vs. 23 yds.... ridiculous

someone should make a side by side video of the non call vs the PI on the uncatchable ball last night where our guy face guarded.

This was NBC, not ESPN. But you are correct. Terry McCaulley pointed out four flags that shouldn’t have been call against the Saints and one crucial tat should have been called against Green Bay.
Actually, it wasn't crucial. It was 3rd and 8. If they would've called the running into the kicker as they should've, it would've made it 3rd and 3 and they would've been punting anyway. Hardly a crucial difference. As opposed to the 15+ yards and drive extending 1st downs they got from the horrible calls on us that WERE crucial.

You know when you watch a WWE match and you can see the opponent blatantly doing something against the rules and everyone in the arena and on TV sees it, but the ref doesn't "see" it. Welcome to the current state of the NFL or should I say Entertainment Football League (EFL).

Ticktak PI on Marcus Williams; flop artistry on a light shove at the end of a play on an uncatchable ball.
Then followed by an obvious offensive PI no call that resulted in a TD...
Blatant selective officiating.

I have a question for those of you that think it is just incompetence and it would be too many people involved to keep a conspiracy hidden. Why is it that in 4 years we have been raped by lopsided egregiously bad calls starting with that TNF game @atl in 2017, then its continued happening more and more frequently leading to the NOLA nocall. Nearly every week for the first half of last season til it finally mellowed out toward the end of last season. But why is it that we have not benefitted from an egregioulsy badly called game? If it was purely incompetence, it would favor us sometimes too, say maybe 1/3 of the egregiosly badly called games would go in our favor, but they don't, they are always lopsided phantom calls against us, but not for us.

Yep. And ALL were clearly wrong. The stats posted earlier in this thread tell a story that can no longer be written off as coincidence or that we are not disciplined while our opponents suddenly become the epitome of discipline. And I don’t think it is gambling. I truly believe Goodell has put the word down that he will look kindly on anything screwing SP
