Nice interactive graph and data on the Guardian web site with salaries for all teams by position.
Because it's so fancy I can't see how to copy and paste stuff, so here's the link:
Headline data for the Saints.
16th highest spenders on salaries on defense and, er, 16th on offense as well.
17th highest spenders on all salaries overall.
Harper highest paid in the defense on over $7m
Obviously Brees highest paid on offense, but Bushrod is a very wealthy young man as well!

Most expensive offense.....Tampa Bay....
