After the new CBA was signed I heard after 2 years the cap will start to rise in large porportions.

I think last year we had a what, 250k-350k cap rise?

Are we expecting a bigger jump this year?

From some google searches it is expected to rise no more then 400k to 121mil, but it says thats not concrete.

I seriously thought during the CBA negitiations the owners wanted a bigger cap increase after 2 years due to tv revenue rising.

Yall know something I dont?

2014 is when the TV contracts kick in. That will be a better increase.

However, all that new TV money won't hit the players at once. It will be a gradual increase over the years. But I heard reports that it would be in the 6-7% range.

So, I forget what the exact cap is now, but if it's around 120-121Million, then the increase would put it at around 128-130M. So, that's a pretty solid increase. That's an extra blue chip guy or two, depending on salary/bonus distribution.
