Payton needs to get off the Competition Committee and onto whatever group picks the schedules.

The Competition Committee is not doing us any good. See how they made a mockery of the PI rules.

Scheduling is the real power. Who we play was set in stone, but when and where has great or greater importance.

Last year? How about starting with a good dome team at home on MNF then a west coast trip on short rest to prove that the Rams really were the better team.

This year? The Brady-Bucs with no tape and a not-yet injured Gronk, then sacrificed to open the LV stadium, an early bye, 4 outdoor cold games, ATL off their bye but not ours, SF off their short week but not ours, 3 straight road games...

It would be harder to come up with more adverse dynamics if they tried. So, they obviously tried.

The team needs to focus on the scheduling committee or whatever group controls this. Switching from Coke to Pepsi would not hurt either.

So you want Payton to get on the scheduling committee to make, the team he coach for, schedule better? Oh yeah, that will go well with the other teams in the league. HAHA. Look I am not totally happy with the schedule who is?

I notice how the league uses the Saints on high profile game to get ratings then screws them in the end. Open against the Bucs and first game in Las Vegas stadium against the Raiders.

Don’t forget back to back to back road games against Denver, Atlanta, and Philadelphia. Oh and then you get to come home to play Kansas City.
