We're all about player safety at the NFL...the winner of the Monday night game will have the early Saturday game. What day does the winner of the Monday night game play on the following weekend? Saturday or Sunday?
Yep. Horrible decisions. They fail to hear that fans want the playoffs to be as even advantage as possible outside the reward for HFO. And they fail to hear that fans don’t like cable packages full of 90 percent channels you will never watch. This is awesome for people who work during the week.
Your team is in the playoffs, and the game starts at 8:15pm on a Monday. Sweet.
And your team gets a short week going into the next round of a freaking playoff game if they win.
Bravo Goodell, Bravo.
Watch it, the clueless crowd could cancel you. Oh wait, they have no idea what's going on...Goodell is a clueless anti football person.
Well, it's the NFL and Goodell. 17 game seasons, expanded playoffs, London games and the move to Monday night wildcard games. It's all about the $$$. Player safety for the NFL has always been window dressing.Yep. Horrible decisions. They fail to hear that fans want the playoffs to be as even advantage as possible outside the reward for HFO. If it's done right, it isn't too far off of having to rotate from a Sun to a Sat playoff game. That's been happening for year now.yeah that's a huge disadvantage especially if its the team that needs to play the 1 seed the following week.

Your on the road in a night game. That eats up more like a day and a half to two days instead of one. You’ve already added a team to the playoffs. How many years do you think it will take for us to see a last seed team make it to the SB? When last seeds are not making it to the SB, IMO there isn’t an argument that playoffs need expanding at all.If it's done right, it isn't too far off of having to rotate from a Sun to a Sat playoff game. And, obviously, more transparent to boot! That’s rude to compare windows to Goodell. Windows have a bigger heart than that dude!
So that Monday night winner would take on the next Sunday night round and it's about the same as a Sun to Sat game cycle. Works well considering that'll be the higher seed game with more potential audience. I'm not going to run thru all the scenarios to see if it really works out tho. That sucks for the wild card winner, one less day of preparation.
nervous, clueless....football personGoodell is a clueless anti football person.
I’m tired of football being sacrificed for entertainment beyond just the enjoyment of the game. Just like wrestling has become. Too commercialized. Takes away from the game itselfI’m OK with it as long as long as the Manning boys are doing their thing.
