I understand that, but there have been numerous shows, clips, interviews, whatever that have pointed this out already. They strayed from the whole narrative of the show when discussing Porter's pick.
My point is this was NFL's Top 10 Interceptions, not Top 10 Franchise Turning Plays or something like that. They could use that whole segment again for whenever they make that episode of Top 10.
I agree with your statement and thoughts on this matter.
I would also offer up that the show's producers probably did not want to high-light or point out technical mistakes made by Peyton Manning and the role he played in the INT. Instead of making him "look bad" for not seeing Porter primed to jump the route they swung the other way and made the moment a "feel good" story for the Saints.
