Nick Underhill returning to cover the Saints (2 Viewers)

I had to run back to the gym and pickup my Yetti. When I told Coach Pete about Nick he said,

"I don't know him. But you say he is a good guy and a good reporter. My sources have been telling me for a couple of years that sports journalism is a brutal career these days because of the Internet. Getting fired is never easy. I've had it happen to me a couple of times. I truly wish him the very best and if he has family, I feel for the pressure he is under building his own business. I know how brutal that can be at times. I hope its going to be good things happening for a good guy"
Not judging or drawing any conclusion. Apparently Coach Pete's claim and you speaking for him is getting traction to some of the local media. Having Nick insight gives us another perspective. I am pretty neutral in this. I am not a huge Nick Underhill fan like some on here but I do respect his work. He is a journalist that has inside information on the team. You can see why people here put more weight to whatever Nick has to say over someone who is basically an unknown out there. Trust me...I am not discrediting anyone. I am just reading and drawing my own conclusion. I am just waiting for that moment when it happen.

You guys that suffer so much reading Coach Pete threads, you know that it's not a requirement to read his stuff. Neither Pete nor I want people to be unhappy. It's a tough world without suffering on a sports social media site. I am going to enjoy Valentine's day, or at least I hope so if I can keep my mouth shut except to say, "I love you so much. You are so beautiful!" -lol. It's easy cause it's true.

Happy Valentines Day Lady Who Dats and if your beauxs didn't get you flowers, love them anyway! Life is way too short for trivial issues to get in the way of real love.

I remember being a kid and fighting to read Pete Finney first thing in the morning every Monday (or Tuesday) of the season from like age 10 until his retirement. Nick is my daughter's generation version of Pete. We didnt realize how much Nick was missed until he left. Welcome Home
