we can, but won't. Haven't verified; but I believe Drew is our highest paid FA from another team ever and he only had two teams putting in bids. Imagine if this CB hits the market, nothing in our history shows he will even come in for a visit before signing some where else.

Breaking the bank for this guy? I don't know. The Saints might be better off shoring up their pass rush and settling for a decent CB--but they MUST get at least one starting CB in free agency.

I keep posting this so that we don't forget: right now, the starting CB's are Jason David and Usama Young.

On the flip side, how often do $60 million free agents hit the market? Not very often, since teams usually don't let players like that get away, like the Raiders won't let Asomugha get away.

i've talked bad about david but I don't think he is all that bad; db coach teach him to not bite so often and he can be a playmaker for us.
