No chairs in meetings (2 Viewers)

Would this work?
If someone called a meeting and nobody could sit, would it make for fewer and more productive meetings?
There is a Dilbert joke on this. Many years ago.

The problem with meetings usually is due to no clear, concise agenda, a lack of information available at the meeting, people hijacking the meeting and droning on and on, and no clear goal/expectation for the outcome.

If the agenda is out early, expectations are set, then people can bring the relevant information and discussion and action can be taken.

Removing chairs may fix some issues, bit it will likely just hurry meetings, which will lead to missed opportunities or missed concerns / issues.

Only thing worse is a conference call.

Oh and...

It really depends on the company, type of meeting, and purpose of meeting. Short, team building and frequent (weekly) planning meetings, no chairs and table would be fine as long as it's 15 minutes or less.
