The Lions are 15th in both points and yards per game. There 17th in rush defence and 15th in passing yards per game. So that looks like a middle of the pack defence.

There pass defence is last passer rating in the NFL at 106.4 and given up an amazing 74.0 compeletion%( worst in NFL history) and they dont have much pass rush at 20 sacks which is 25th in the NFL. But they are only give up 10.06 yards per completion which is the lowest in the league cause they force everything underneath.

The lions defence is last given up 6.7 plays per drive and being on the field for 3:08 per drive. Despite given up the longest the drives in the NFL, only 4 teams have played few plays then the Lions defence.

Most teams don't have the patience that Drew has to take what the D gives him. And he is so accurate that it's possible for the Saints to have those 10+ play drives.

Those stats encourage me that the Saints O will have a BIG day on Sunday. (Hope so because I'm flying in for the game.)

The average game has 128.4 plays and a 22.3 drives per game. The Lions average game is 120.6 plays per game and 19.5 drives per game compare to the Saints game has 133.6 plays and 23.1 drives per game.

Dress average is right around 8 yards per attempt so sounds good to me.
The running game may even work.

It doesnt sound like the Lions have any strengths that attack our weaknesses or protect from our strengths. They're all around average and get lucky in the 4th quarter.

If we stay disciplined for 60 minutes, we should win.

The Lions MO this year has been to keep the game close, hang around until the 4th quarter, then let Stafford win it late on a TD drive and pull out the victory.

Get up by 21 going into the 4th quarter and that plan becomes moot.

Rams were 3rd best in the league in yards per attempted pass (6.8 ypa) and Drew ended up with 8.6 ypa. And before we got into dialing it down in the 4th, he was actually over 9 yards per attempt. Quite impressive. Credit the game plan and the offensive line. And Drew being Drew.

We are gonna curb-stomp these pretenders.

Book it.

The Lions defense isn't prepared to face the amount of weapons we have on offense. They are built to stifle a threat or even 2 (with Slay generally taking 1 guy completely out of the picture)

Yet I don't think they'll be able to account for Cooks, Thomas, Fleener, Hill, and Ingram not in the dome...not when Drew can make checks at the LOS and get us into the proper play.

Away..where the crowd is into it and it limits his ability to do so....yes? (this is why you build good oline/dlines in those moments just run the ball/quiet the crowd)

Not used to seeing "moot" spelled or pronounced properly.
