NEW ORLEANS —
After considering an evacuation due to the threat of Hurricane Delta, the New Orleans Saints have decided to remain home and play their week 5 game as scheduled in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Jeff Duncan with The Athletic was the first to report the news, which an NFL source confirmed to WDSU sports anchor Fletcher Mackel.
The Saints relocated a portion of training camp practices to Indianapolis in 2008 when Hurricane Gustav affected the New Orleans metro area.
