Didn't see these plays get called much, when your O.line is struggling, you need to get the ball out fast. Didn't see Carmichael scheming much to help out a struggling O.line or even try to make adjustments. If I'm a defensive coordinator playing the Saints, I have so many options to rush the passer because these plays aren't being called. All the packers did was tee off and come after Carr/Winston, everyone in the league knows the Saints O.line isn't good.

You're better off putting in Taysom at QB and running a zone read at this point if that is how the O.line is going to be playing going forward. I would rather have him have the ability to roll out and throw on the run or just take off than sitting a statue back at QB.

He did with Winston, but unfortunately it was a big reason for our punts… Agreed that he should have called more with Carr, plays are often slow to develop

We have run all of those, as most people have pointed out... the issue is the blocking, and timing of the blocking is off.... and when that's off.... everything else in the operation is off. If the G/T releases to late or gets hung up... there's no lead/kick out blocker... If they release too early the QB can't make a good throw, or has to retreat too far.... Even the slants and outs are being effected because of bad windows, and defenders coming completely unblocked.

In short, literally nothing will work consistently until the blocking is fixed.... It's been that bad. It will continue to be bad no matter who we play at RB, QB, or WR.... It has to be fixed first.

It's obvious that the offense timing is off. Some may say it's because of the poor execution of the line. IMO, it comes from lack of preparation in the off season and from not playing in preseason games.

I'm not one to throw too many jabs at the coaching staff, but Carmichael went into conservative mode way too soon. He didn't have Winston throw the ball down the field until the last drive. Yesterday's loss was on the coaching staff.

Miller read his blocker wrong on that play.

No actually, not even close.

Bad ball. Look at the blockers and the defense. 2 on 2 with a WR downfield.

I marked where he would have been at this point if it was a good throw that he doesn't have to adjust 1 handed for.

And the end result, because he had to adjust to a bad ball.

Not trying to crush Carr here with this, but we need to be able to execute screens. This was a touchdown, or at the very least a monster gain if he puts it on him properly. The very next play Carr gets hurt.

The defender came free and was already diving at his legs as he secured the catch and instantly had to make a move to avoid the defender. The blocking was not good at all.

McCoy wasn't able to reach him fast enough but honestly it shouldn't have mattered, the time it took for Kendre to adjust to that ball and get his footing to accelerate was the problem. That defender and McCoys block wouldn't have mattered because Kendre should have already been past that.

No run game Sir. The defense sat on passing routes b/c they weren't afraid of the run from us.
