MT caught like 5 slants, mostly from JW.

Are you sure you know what a slant is…

When we lose this board is filled with nonsensical threads, I just read one thread where Kamara was questioned for not showing up the last three games.

Oh look - Penning's guy is all the way around him and in Carr's face making him throw the ball high and totally screwing up the timing of the play... Pretty sure the play design best case scenario is to have Penning's guy in front of him on this play and not behind him as he holds on for dear life.

Bad ball. Look at the blockers and the defense. 2 on 2 with a WR downfield.



I marked where he would have been at this point if it was a good throw that he doesn't have to adjust 1 handed for.



And the end result, because he had to adjust to a bad ball.

Not trying to crush Carr here with this, but we need to be able to execute screens. This was a touchdown, or at the very least a monster gain if he puts it on him properly. The very next play Carr gets hurt.

This also shows how defenders are playing way off the line, so far that they don't need to turn and run with the WR before we throw the screen. They aren't even sweating Shaheed running past them because they've already read screen and they are breaking on the play.

A better throw still makes for a better play here.
