I doubt they would tell him much unless they were sure that he was all in. Which apparently we now know he wasn't. But they are the Seahawks lol...

I read somewhere that he has always had a serious problem with his feet. Was constantly in pain but managed to fight through it. I guess if you add chronic knee problems to that it might be too much.

Wish I could remember who it was that wrote that but it was right after we signed him.

Sometimes, guys just don't have it in them to keep playing ball. He might be ok physically, but maybe his heart just isn't in it.

the opposite also....most likely his heart is there but physically he just can't do it anymore. Don't have to be on IR or have an obvious injury to just not physically be able to compete at that level.

He can't go more than a couple of bursts on that knee before it starts to swell up. We were sold a lemon. Payton knew it pretty soon into training camp last season. That's why he was in Pensacola with a cast on a few weeks before our first game. Whoever was responsible for his physical should have been fired for failing.....JMO

His stay with the jets will be very telling. Their OC was with the Bills when he played there. He said they signed him because he already knew the Playbook. If he's cut in a couple of weeks it probably means he's done.
