NEW ORLEANS -- Jake Delhomme threw two touchdown passes and Carolina's defense turned two turnovers by Saints backup quarterback Jamie Martin into two more scores as the Panthers beat New Orleans 31-21 Sunday in the Superdome.

Carolina, predicted by many to make it to the Super Bowl, ends its season at 8-8 and 2-0 against the playoff-bound Saints.

"You want to go out with a win," said Delhomme, who completed 23-of-27 passes for 207 yards against his former team despite a bruised hand. "It's not the win you want to end the season with, but at least it's a win." Full Story - Press-Register
