I didn't read the article but I am familar with it. The Grey Ghost or whatever really does some stupid things around the city. You can ride anywhere around the CBD and see grey splashes on everything and it's lame. I like the Nola Rising project.

Well, it seems to me that If Mr. Radtke wants to pursue the law against Mr. Dingler for posting these signs, which, I've seen and thought they were kinda nice, then Mr. Radtke should be subject to the same law due to his painting gray blotches from one end of this city to the other. The gray paint is a whole lot uglier than these signs, IMO. Seems like Mr. Radtke has other issues...he seems plain mean, if you ask me.

my opinion on this situation is very complex, being a former graff artist myself, but ill make it short:

for radtke to continue, the city needs to set some ordinances.

first he needs to get written permission to cover any graffiti on private buildings. he already has permission to cover graffiti on public places. i purposely call it "cover" and not "clean up" because hes never cleaned anything.

secondly, he needs to start taking down illegal signs and flyers instead of painting over them. this is after hes gotten permission from the private property owners.

lastly, and most importantly he needs to paint the wall back to its original color. many buildings are historic, and look a lot worse with a big gray square on them as opposed to a thin outlined graffiti writing. equally important is that he needs to stop painting over street signs, and should start using paint removers to take off the offending graffiti. painting a stop sign gray is dangerous, a lot more dangerous than someone's name scribbled in marker.

i could go further into this, but i wont.
