JoLonn Dunbar came in for Scott Shanle for just nine plays but in that time managed to register as many defensive stops, three, as Shanle managed in 67. That included a stop on 3rd down & 4th down, Dunbar’s grade (+1.7) put Shanle’s (-1.1) to shame yet again, what more does Dunbar have to do to overtake Shanle on the depth chart?

I have to say that I agree. What has Dunbar done or not done to put him in the doghouse?

I think we need to completely revamp our OLB position in the off-season. If Roman Harper was not playing on an elite level in the run game, we'd be in trouble.

Dunbar does not play consisantly game in and game out and Shanle is better at dropping into coverage.

That scares the crap out of me, I'm tired of seeing Shanle get beat week after week.

I'm tired of backing Shanle.....Dunbar has outplayed him. I used to parrot that Shanle is consistent and that has earned him the spot, but it's just not good enough anymore.....and he's consistently been invisible.

I think Dunbar has earned the job.
