Funny note-and-aside: Some times it's hard to understand her as she actually types in "brogue". But I must admit that reading someone use words like "wee" in every-day conversation is something I find deliciously fascinating.

EDIT: and that's not even counting our phone conversations. Between her brogue and my drawl, it's a wonder we can communicate at all.

Where are all you guys watching the superbowl?

Looking for a superbowl party as have been banned by the mrs from watching it in the house due to the noise i was making watching the NFC championship game.

Also are any of you guys thinking of trying to go to the superbowl?

I have priced it around £2000 all in. Dont think i can afford that. Wish i could though.

Putting on a few lottery tickets tonight. You never know. Using Saints numbers for luck.

You may not believe this but I'm actually looking for a lottery winner to take me to the Superbowl, how much of a coinkydink is that? You may be the one.

I'm watching at a friends house, we do it every year, never thought i'd be going to his to watch the Saint though, I know, my bad.

Yeah i normally watch it in a house but be good to go to a superbowl party since the saints are playing.

The only ones in edinburgh i have found so far are edinburgh wolves hosting one at sportsters and Hard rock cafe having one.

Think there is a superbowl party at the sports cafe in glasgow too.

OK, I just got done talking to my friend in Edinburgh.

She told me that I am a complete brain-dead dumb***, and she never told me that.

So there it is. :sulkoff:

:smilielol:

Her exact words:

"nothing no punch line am confused about ya thinking of haggis is meaning some thing over here"

Wow.

I thought i'd let you who like the Scots twang see a clip i recorded of my 7yr old daugher on the phone to her auntie a few weeks ago.

I blame Jeanne for making it up and telling you.

No, it wasn't Jonie what done it.

It was me mis-reading part of a conversation two years ago. Little errors in understanding stick in the mind and take on a life all their own if left unchecked. (See St. Paul's Epistles for an example). ;)
