Well first off this sucks **** this really blows no williams, trufant, or Nnamdi

Nesbit: I think we could use him for another year will Alleman is groomed up

Goodwin: adds depth at G/C

Patten: Solid WR who played good for us

Moore: I like him he might contribute this year

Billy Miller: Can put up numbers

Still hope we can trade for Lito Shepard or Deangelo Hall. I wouldn't give up anything higher than a 3rd for either of them. Samuel is still a possibility. I don't think anyone was really delusional enough to think that Aso, Trufant and Williams would not be tagged. I hope we get at least 1 of these corners so that in the first round we could take Rivers or Conner who seem more ready for immediate impact than McKelvin although I would not be unhappy with McKelvin. I would be happier with McKelvin if we could get Briggs.

I don't know why you expected those three guys to NOT get tags. It's not a shocker.

If we can get a big FA signing all the better, but what we really need is a good draft this year.

We can fix our LB problems through the draft... This is a deep draft for LBs, and if we pick a couple in the 1st 4 rounds, we could fix our issues at MLB and WLB for the present and the future.

I'm hoping we go out and grab Faneca, DT Ethan Kelley from the Browns, a vet CB like Drayton Florence or William James, and one of the starting caliber FS on the market.

But if we do not go into FA and fill holes in the D well will end up the same way we were last season. WE must go out in FA and get at least one LB CB and DT do that no matter who is available we can take the BPA. IMO with C Williams franchised I would do this.

Lance Briggs- I know that everyone thinks he will be be overpaid and I agree but the bottom line is that we need LBers BAD. Lance can play WLB or MLB if someone falls to us in the 2nd like Lofton.
Drayton Flonace- I know that he is not the best player but we need CB's bad and Asante will want more money then anyone in FA.
Tommy Kelly- He is not the player i was hoping for but Droopy got this one.
Crumpler- i know he may cost some $$$ but this is the only player I would bring in to our O other then a Nesbit replacement.
Jacob Bell- Not a popular LG but he can compete...

Resign

It does so every year... teams are much better at managing their caps, and they don't let good players go.

Consider: if Colston was going to hit the FA market, do you think the Saints would let him?
