We always score a lot of points. We also give up way too many points. We need to get healthy on D and take the pressure off the offense.

The Saints defense is currently giving up 33.6 points per game. Which would set the NFL record for points allowed in season.

I'm willing to guess no team has had a winning record giving up 33.6 points per game.

So... 8-8?

7-9, 8-8, 9-7 seasons have been a kiss of death for the Saints. No playoffs and middle-round draft picks.

these days we're pretty busy chasing our own "worst defense ever" records. Can't wait until that's over. Probably about the time our offense takes a dump. There's been no excuse to have a superbowl winning offense every season and a bottom dwelling defense....that's just ridiculous.

Wow!! Looking at this list I just really realized how many key injuries the defense has sustained....
