How can fraud in a not for profit organization possibly turn political?
I'll go ahead and sum up how this is going to play out to save everyone some time. The CEO and board members named will be fired, they will have to pay a fine less than what they profited, the organization itself will also pay a fine that is a few percent of their annual collections. Then they will issue an apology by the organizations law firm to go along with an independent investigation. Then they will reregister in Texas or Nevada.
