I've been one of the biggest Peat haters from day 1. He wasn't terrible last night. Still see the deficiencies though. Wasn't challenged a lot in pass pro. Strenght issues in the run game. But he did do much better. Season about to start time to go with glass half full approach

Peat has all the talent in the world. Peat is also very young. Peat played well at RG in the preseason games so far. He's young, healthy, and under contract.

Give the kid a chance. He's growing, literally still growing.

I was curious about what guards have expiring contracts and two names leapt off the screen, David DeCastro for the Steelers and Kevin Zeitler for the Bengals.

DeCastro has given very political answers in the article I found.

While Zeitler, the Bengals have a number of guys who need contracts coming up. Could he be a casualty?
